During this webinar, some regional aspects of eel restocking were looked at, and whether they are used as a conservation measure likely to improve recruitment of European eel. Uncertainties and risks connected with eel restocking, related to migration, potential spread of pathogens and other biological effects of restocking were highlighted. The presentations were followed by a short panel discussion.
